AReNA attends CASTL’s Open Door Day

On December 10, 2024, Yassine El Bakkouri, Project Manager – Scientific Events for AReNA, was one of 30 representatives from companies in the biopharmaceutical sector who had the opportunity to attend the open house at the CASTL training center in Montreal.
The event offered a unique opportunity to discover CASTL’s specialized training programs, while highlighting the innovative RNA Mobilizing Project initiative: the Factory School. This project will offer specialized training programs in RNA manufacturing, aimed at industry workers, scientists, as well as university and college students.
The visit presented CASTL’s unique training model, which will serve as the foundation for the development of specialized RNA training.
Participants were able to:
- Discover CASTL’s specialized programs, such as CASTL Elevate, and other relevant training courses.
- Explore how these programs support skills development within organizations.
- Identify opportunities for CASTL graduates to fill entry-level positions in their companies.
- Interact with industry professionals and make connections for potential collaborations.
- Participate in interactive tours of the facilities, guided by specialized trainers.
This enriching event underlined the important role played by the CASTL training center for the Factory School, one of the RNA Mobilizing Project’s five initiatives, in developing skills and innovation in the biopharmaceutical industry.
